At the third Russia-Africa summit in Moscow, President Abdelmadjid Tebboune advocated for a more equitable global system, emphasizing the urgent need to reform the UN Security Council to rectify the historical marginalization of Africa. The President highlighted that the Russia-Africa strategic partnership should be based on mutual respect and shared benefits, free from external tutelage. He warned against foreign interference in the internal affairs of African nations, asserting that true stability stems from sovereignty and homegrown political solutions. Tebboune reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment to continental integration through key infrastructure projects like the Trans-Sahara Gas Pipeline and the Trans-African Highway. Addressing security, he noted that combating terrorism requires addressing economic inequalities and providing prospects for youth. Additionally, he reiterated Algeria's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and called for international cooperation to address the climate-driven water and food security crises in Africa.
