Algeria is set to host the fifth edition of the African Startup Conference (ASC 2026) from December 5 to 7, 2026, under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Organized by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises, the event will take place at the International Conference Center in Algiers under the theme "Deep Tech: The Real Challenge." The conference seeks to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers to discuss the future of innovation and entrepreneurship across the continent. Over 25,000 participants, 40 ministerial delegations, and 150 investors are expected to attend. A key highlight this year is the African Tech Startup Award, which will select three winners from across Africa. Registration is currently available through the official conference website.
