New Governor of Béjaïa accelerates progress on major regional projects
Mohamed Meziane, the newly appointed governor of Béjaïa, has launched an active inspection campaign targeting key infrastructure projects. During his visit to the highway link project, he called for reinforced staffing and equipment to expedite construction while maintaining high standards, aiming to reduce traffic congestion and boost port logistics. He also evaluated the anti-cancer center in Amizour, which is being built by Cosider and is currently 86% complete. Officials are finalizing the acquisition of advanced medical equipment for the radiotherapy department to ensure that local patients can receive treatment without the need for difficult travel to other provinces.
