On Thursday, the head of the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE), Saâd Arous, visited the authority's regional headquarters in Algiers. The visit coincided with the deadline for submitting candidacy applications for the upcoming municipal and provincial assembly elections scheduled for November 28. During his inspection, Arous reviewed the working conditions and the progress of the filing process for political parties and independent lists. He expressed his approval regarding the professional and orderly manner in which the submission phase was conducted.
