During the World Investment Forum 2026 in Doha, Omar Rekkache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, met with the Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani. The meeting focused on the Algerian investment climate and the incentives available to foreign investors. Both sides explored ways to enhance economic cooperation and foster partnerships between the two nations' private sectors. They also coordinated preparations for a forthcoming visit by a Qatari business delegation to Algeria to scout investment opportunities and engage in direct business-to-business discussions.
