The Algiers Water and Sanitation Company (SEAAL) announced that a technical failure on a main distribution pipe has caused disruptions in drinking water supply this Friday, October 30, 2026. The affected areas include parts of the Bachdjerrah municipality, specifically El Badr neighborhood, Hanafi Hedjres street, and parts of the four neighborhoods. Additionally, residents of the La Pervenche area in the Kouba municipality, including the 286 and 648 housing units, are impacted. The company noted that water supply will return to the standard schedule gradually as soon as the repair work is finalized.
