The Great Mosque of Paris launched a two-day cultural event this Saturday, October 24th, to promote the city of Constantine. The program, led by rector Chems-Eddine Hafiz, highlights the history and traditions of the ancient Numidian capital. The launch event was attended by high-profile guests, including the mayor of Paris's 5th arrondissement, the Algerian ambassador to UNESCO, and the chargé d’affaires of the Algerian embassy in France. Attendees are offered a sensory journey featuring presentations on traditional weddings, workshops on rose water distillation, lectures on local history, and culinary demonstrations, including the making of the traditional Jouzia nougat, all aimed at celebrating the cultural legacy of the 'City of Bridges'.
