Bilel Achacha, Director General of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA), reported that the agency has overseen the creation of 7,009 micro-enterprises since its restructuring in October 2025. These businesses currently provide jobs for approximately 2,600 workers, contributing to national efforts to generate wealth and reduce unemployment. The agency has also trained 70,000 project leaders through a network of 200 entrepreneurship development centers across universities and vocational training institutes. According to Achacha, 10% of those trained have successfully launched their projects, highlighting the importance of professional support in turning entrepreneurial ideas into concrete economic realities.
