Furthermore, the meeting addressed a national mechanism for detecting and reducing methane emissions, highlighting Algeria's climate commitments and energy goals. Finally, following directives from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Government assessed the advancement of the Laghouat to Tamanrasset railway project, emphasizing the need to mobilize resources to meet the 2028 completion deadline.
