The cybercrime unit of the Relizane police department has successfully dismantled an organized crime network specialized in forging official and commercial documents using modern information systems. Seven members were arrested, including one individual wanted under three separate arrest warrants. The investigation was triggered by the monitoring of suspicious social media activities offering the sale of forged official documents and bank statements. Detectives identified the suspects and raided three clandestine workshops located across the country. The operation resulted in the seizure of 135 counterfeit seals belonging to various ministries and public institutions, along with computers, electronic equipment, fake passports, driver's licenses, family books, one vehicle, and 180,000 DZD in cash. The suspects have been presented before the prosecutor at the Relizane court.
