On behalf of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister participated in the 8th Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) held at the World Trade Center in Moscow. Upon arrival, he was received by Russian President Vladimir Putin prior to the official group photo session. The summit focuses on enhancing coordination among producing nations amidst current economic and geopolitical challenges, covering topics such as energy security, infrastructure development, and advanced production technologies. Algeria's participation highlights its active role in the forum, building on its hosting of the 7th summit in March 2024 and the resulting 'Algiers Declaration,' which emphasized the importance of strategic dialogue and market stability for the global natural gas industry.
