Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, Abdelkader Djellaoui, chaired a meeting to expedite maintenance operations for the national highway network, specifically targeting black spots on the East-West Highway. The upcoming projects include segments in the provinces of Constantine, Guelma, and Aïn Defla, as well as the 29-kilometer second Algiers bypass connecting Bir Touta and Khemis El Khechna. The Minister has mandated the establishment of local oversight committees and emphasized the rapid mobilization of construction crews and resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently while meeting quality standards.
