On behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Prime Minister delivered an address at the 8th Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Moscow. The President expressed his gratitude to President Vladimir Poutine for the warm welcome extended to the Algerian delegation. He recalled the significance of the Algiers Declaration from the previous summit, noting its impact on global energy security. While passing the presidency to Russia, President Tebboune celebrated the forum's 25th anniversary and highlighted Algeria's contributions to establishing the Gas Research Institute. The address emphasized that natural gas remains a fundamental economic pillar, particularly amidst current geopolitical shifts and the challenges posed by climate change.
