Algeria's Revolution showcased through a unique art exhibition in the Algiers metro

To mark the November 1st commemorations, the El-Beyt Association for Culture and Arts has launched an international exhibition titled "Algeria seen by the world: one hundred global quotes on the Algerian Revolution." Running from November 1st to 7th, the exhibition features one hundred panels displaying insights from world leaders, thinkers, and artists regarding the War of Independence. The exhibition uniquely occupies seven Algiers metro stations, spanning from Place des Martyrs to El-Harrach, turning transit areas into an accessible public art gallery. The display emphasizes the global impact of the Revolution as a universal symbol against colonialism. Supported by the Algerian Film Centre, the Algiers Metro authority, and national companies, this initiative aims to bring history to the public. Following the week-long presentation in the metro network, the collection is scheduled to tour various cultural venues across different provinces of the country.
