The Minister of Communication has announced the imminent release of regulatory texts to implement the new legislative framework for Algeria's media sector. These regulations will finalize the organic law on information, as well as statutes governing audiovisual, print, and electronic media. Emphasizing the instructions of the President of the Republic, the Minister highlighted the need to complete the installation of regulatory bodies to better structure the industry. Addressing current challenges, he called on media professionals to play a proactive role in countering hybrid warfare and to highlight the nation's development achievements. Furthermore, the ministry is coordinating with the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) to facilitate professional media coverage of upcoming elections.
