Religious cooperation: first group of Algerian female religious guides heads to Egypt for training
Minister of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Youcef Belmehdi, met on Thursday with the first group of female religious guides (mourchidates) preparing to travel to Egypt for a specialized training program. This initiative stems from the cooperation agreement between Algeria and Egypt regarding religious affairs. The group consists of highly qualified women holding master's and doctoral degrees in Islamic sciences, representing eight provinces: Blida, Khenchela, Bouira, Ghardaia, Tizi Ouzou, M'Sila, El Oued, and Mila. During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the importance of this training, conducted in partnership with the Al-Azhar International Academy, urging the participants to enhance their expertise in religious guidance and leadership.
