U17 National Team concludes preparation camp in Tlemcen ahead of World Cup

The Algerian U17 national team has finished its final preparation camp at the Tlemcen Regional Technical Center, preparing for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, scheduled from November 19 to December 13, 2026. During the camp, the squad played three test matches, securing victories in all: a 4-1 win against CR Témouchent U20, an 11-0 win over US Tlemcen seniors, and a 4-3 victory against WA Tlemcen U20. These matches allowed the coaching staff to assess the physical and technical readiness of the players before determining the final squad list. Algeria qualified for the tournament by reaching the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations last May. They are placed in Group J alongside the United States, Chile, and Montenegro.
