In a message addressed to the 8th GECF Summit in Moscow, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed that Algeria remains a safe and reliable energy partner. Represented by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, the President emphasized that natural gas is a fundamental pillar for global economies. Tebboune warned against inconsistent regulations that hamper investments and called for a stable framework to ensure supply security. He described natural gas as a natural ally for the energy transition. Building on its legacy since the 1964 Arzew complex, Algeria is currently advancing large-scale initiatives, including the 'South2 Corridor' for green hydrogen and the Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP) project, aimed at fostering sustainable regional development.
