The National Agency for the Valorization of Hydrocarbon Resources (ALNAFT) is representing Algeria at the African Energy Week in Cape Town to showcase the "Algeria Bid Round 2026". This initiative, which covers seven exploration blocks, aims to attract international investment and has already engaged around 60 global companies. According to the current timeline, bids will be submitted and opened on January 25, 2027, with final contracts with Sonatrach expected to be signed by March 31, 2027. To assist interested partners, ALNAFT has introduced virtual data rooms offering remote access to technical documentation. This promotion campaign follows participation in other major events like the World Energy Summit and the NAPEC exhibition in Oran, highlighting the country's strategic geological potential and its commitment to expanding upstream partnerships.
