The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications has issued an advisory regarding internet service instability scheduled from 8:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2026, until 4:00 AM on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The department explained that these interruptions are linked to maintenance works being carried out on the submarine cable connecting Algeria to Spain. In coordination with Algérie Télécom, the ministry confirmed that teams are fully mobilized to monitor the situation, mitigate the impact on users, and ensure the gradual restoration of services as quickly as possible.
