Following the appointment of Abdelwahab Zini as the new governor of El Tarf, the executive faces several critical development tasks, with tourism being a top priority. As a region with significant potential, El Tarf hosts 5,010 hectares of tourist expansion zones, alongside world-renowned nature reserves and historical sites. Experts emphasize the need to boost tourism investment to address the current shortage of facilities and expand accommodation capacity to meet high visitor demand. The new governor is expected to continue the local development momentum while also focusing on the agricultural sector—a key economic pillar for the province—as well as culture and general investment, aiming to create added value for the local economy.
