Moscow Hosts Dual Summits on Global Gas Markets and Africa Ties
Moscow hosted two significant international events during the final week of October. From October 25th to 27th, the Gas Summit brought together members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, industry experts, and major energy corporations to analyze the future of the global gas market. The agenda covered market expansion, infrastructure development, and the integration of artificial intelligence to better predict demand. The summit aimed to produce a declaration focusing on financing mechanisms and the promotion of small-scale liquefied natural gas projects. Following this, the third Russia-Africa Summit took place on October 28th and 29th, focusing on strengthening economic and political cooperation. This forum addressed the challenge of translating political agreements into tangible projects and investments, catering to the growing interest of African nations in diversifying their economic partnerships and securing new technological resources for their development.
