Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, attended the third Russia-Africa Summit and the Economic and Humanitarian Forum in Moscow. The two-day event, involving 48 nations, focuses on enhancing cooperation in industry, energy, food security, and digital technology, with a joint action plan for 2027-2029 expected to be adopted. Furthermore, the Prime Minister participated in the eighth Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit, where he conveyed Algeria’s call for a fair and gradual energy transition. He also emphasized the necessity of dialogue between producers and consumers to ensure market stability. Participants stressed the importance of investing in the entire natural gas supply chain and recognized the significance of the 2024 Algiers Declaration and the longstanding bilateral relations between Algeria and Russia.
