Algeria's presence at the "Fruit Attraction 2026" international trade fair in Madrid, held from October 6th to 8th, resulted in the signing of 8 memorandums of understanding to export agricultural products to European markets. The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion confirmed that a contract worth nearly 3 million dollars was signed to supply plastic packaging materials to the German market, reflecting a growing interest in Algerian industrial products linked to the food sector. The event provided a platform for national firms to showcase their production capabilities and connect with global distribution networks. Furthermore, companies are continuing negotiations to finalize additional trade agreements following the initial business contacts established during the exhibition.
