The cybercrime unit of the Relizane provincial police has successfully dismantled an organized criminal ring specializing in the forgery of official, administrative, and commercial documents using advanced information systems. The operation, announced this Thursday, resulted in the arrest of seven individuals, one of whom was wanted under three separate arrest warrants. Authorities launched the investigation after monitoring suspicious social media activity offering the sale of official paperwork and bank statements. The inquiry led to the identification of three separate workshops located across different provinces. During the raids, police seized 135 forged stamps from various ministries and public institutions, along with computers, electronic devices, fake passports, driver's licenses, and family books. A vehicle and 180,000 DA in cash were also recovered. The suspects have been presented before the public prosecutor at the Relizane court.
