National security forces in the provinces of Tamanrasset and In Salah have successfully dismantled two organized crime networks involved in illegal drug trafficking this week. The operations led to the seizure of over 110 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of 10 individuals, including one foreign woman. In Tamanrasset, the search and intervention squad arrested 8 people and confiscated 82 kg of cocaine, along with cash and transport vehicles. Meanwhile, in In Salah, urban security officers discovered 27 kg of cocaine hidden within a vehicle and arrested two individuals, while also seizing two off-road vehicles. All suspects have been brought before the prosecutor at the specialized criminal pole of Ouargla for legal proceedings.
