Algerian full-back Mohamed Azzi continues to deliver consistent performances for Russian club CSKA Moscow. Following a loss to Dynamo, the team rebounded with a 2-0 derby win over Spartak, moving them into third place behind Zenit and Dynamo. Playing within a five-man defensive line, Azzi handled his duties effectively, winning the majority of his aerial and ground duels against constant pressure. Offensively, he contributed with frequent dribbling and created a significant scoring chance early on, despite minor lapses in his passing game. Since joining the club in September, Azzi has secured seven consecutive starts. His impressive development has earned him a call-up to the provisional squad for the Algerian national team for the upcoming November fixtures.
