Security services, in coordination with airport border police at Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport, have successfully dismantled a criminal network involved in money laundering. Two suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested while attempting to smuggle over 7 kilograms of gold, valued at more than 20 billion centimes, along with 20,340 euros in foreign currency. The gold was found concealed under the woman's clothing during a security screening. Two vehicles were also seized as part of the investigation. The suspects have been brought before the prosecutor at the Es-Senia court to face charges related to organized money laundering and violations of foreign exchange regulations.
