Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, presided over the National Diplomacy Day celebration this Thursday. During the ceremony, Attaf highlighted the symbolic significance of the event, which aligns with the anniversary of the United Nations' foundation. The occasion specifically commemorates Algeria's accession to the UN, which took place on October 8, 1962. The event was attended by presidential advisors, representatives of national institutions, heads of diplomatic missions, and delegates from international and regional organizations based in Algeria, alongside ministry staff.
