The port of Arzew has inaugurated its new director during an official ceremony attended by representatives from the Merchant Marine and the Serport group. This appointment reflects the Transport Ministry's policy to strengthen port governance and adapt management practices to current economic demands. Following the installation, officials visited the site to monitor infrastructure improvements, specifically at berth n°5. As a critical hub for the export of LNG and petroleum products, Arzew remains vital to the national economy. The incoming management is expected to oversee ongoing modernization efforts and ensure the facility can efficiently handle the rising maritime traffic.
