The home of the companion Abu Ayyub al-Ansari in Medina holds a significant place in Islamic history as the first residence to host the Prophet Muhammad upon his migration (Hijra). A notable instance of this reverence occurred when Abu Ayyub refused to occupy the upper floor of his own house, out of deference, choosing instead to stay on the ground level while the Prophet remained below. Abu Ayyub's devotion was also evident in his habit of seeking the Prophet's blessing by touching the areas where the Prophet's fingers had been on his food, and by abstaining from ingredients like garlic, following the Prophet's personal preference. Furthermore, during the incident of the Ifk (slander), Abu Ayyub and his wife stood firmly by the honor of the Prophet's wife, Aisha, dismissing the baseless rumors with absolute certainty. This historic hospitality remains an enduring example of sincerity, proper conduct, and deep love for the Prophet.
