Technical glitch causes partial suspension of Algiers Metro service

The Algiers Metro operator reported a temporary service disruption this Sunday due to a technical failure affecting the first line. Six stations have been closed as a result: Mer et Soleil, Amirouche, Les Fusillés, Jardin d'Essais, Hamma, and Aïssat Idir. The company stated that metro operations are continuing normally between the Place des Martyrs and 1er Mai stations, as well as between the Haï El Badr station and the destinations of El Harrach and Aïn Naâdja. Technical teams are currently working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, and the company has issued an apology to passengers for the inconvenience caused by this situation.
