The president of the Algerian Football Federation, Walid Sadi, extended his deepest condolences following the death of JS Skikda player Aymen Chahmat, who passed away after battling an illness. Representing the federation and the federal office, Sadi conveyed his sympathies to the player’s family and his club. The National Amateur Football League also offered its condolences and announced that a minute of silence will be observed before all league matches. Additionally, the league has decided to postpone the upcoming fourth-round match between JS Skikda and Paradou AC to a later date.
