Finance Minister presents 2027 Draft Finance Bill to the National People's Assembly

On Monday, Finance Minister Mohamed Lamine Lebbou presented the 2027 Draft Finance Bill to the members of the National People's Assembly. The plenary session was led by Assembly President Khalida Boufedeche and attended by various government officials. During his address, the Minister announced an economic growth projection of 4.2% for 2027 and outlined budget forecasts extending through 2028 and 2029. The legislative proposals highlighted include measures to support productive investment, diversify the economy, and protect citizens' purchasing power. Furthermore, the plan details efforts to modernize administration, simplify procedures, broaden the tax base, and strengthen the fight against tax evasion and fraud.
