General Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, officially installed Major General Ali Sidane as the new commander of the National Gendarmerie this Thursday, on behalf of the President of the Republic. During a videoconference addressed to all units, the Chief of Staff emphasized that maintaining public trust is essential for the institution's success. He stressed the importance of leadership rooted in ethics and integrity, highlighting the need for rigorous training and operational readiness. Acknowledging the commitment of Gendarmerie units in securing borders and combating terrorism and organized crime, he urged all personnel to remain dedicated and determined in their service to the country.
