Ministry of Trade to regulate intermediaries and cap profit margins
During the presentation of her sector's budget before the Finance Committee of the National People's Assembly, the Minister of Trade unveiled a new strategy to regulate the national market and protect consumer purchasing power. The plan includes the drafting of regulations to organize intermediaries and set caps on profit margins. The Ministry is intensifying field monitoring in coordination with local authorities and is developing a shared digital database to track price fluctuations and product availability in real-time. Key measures also include an early warning system to address unusual price spikes, the storage of domestic production surpluses to ensure supply stability, and strict oversight of the pricing of imported goods.
