USM El Harrach President resigns following threats and harassment
Salim Rabah, president of the amateur sports club USM El Harrach, has announced his final resignation. Rabah cited severe threats and persistent harassment against himself and fellow staff members as the primary reason, noting that the situation has escalated beyond sports or administrative disputes to endanger the safety of their families. He highlighted reports of nighttime home invasions against administrators, which have been formally reported to the court in Dar El Beïda. This decision comes shortly after the team’s latest defeat against Nadjm Koléa in the eighth round of the Ligue 2 amateur championship, leaving the club in eighth place in the standings.
