Professional Development Program Launched for 200 Female Judges in Algeria
A sensitization workshop for female judges kicked off this Sunday, marking a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Justice and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The event brings together 200 participants, ranging from experienced judges to young magistrates and students, to facilitate knowledge sharing and address the challenges faced by women in the judiciary. Ministry Secretary-General Mohamed Hammadou stated that the initiative highlights the state's commitment to empowering women and enhancing their professional capabilities. He noted that the ministry continues to organize domestic and international training sessions to keep pace with global technological and social changes. The workshop also serves as a step toward obtaining the "Gender Equality Seal," through cooperation with international experts to integrate equality practices within the judicial system.
