For Algeria, the event is an opportunity to promote cooperation among member nations and track the implementation of the 2024 'Algiers Declaration'. Representing 20 member countries, the GECF plays a critical role in the global energy landscape, controlling a substantial portion of the world's gas reserves and exports.
