Unrest and clashes in Barcelona ahead of El Clasico
Barcelona experienced a night of tension on Saturday as youth protests escalated into clashes with police. Triggered by calls on social media, the unrest began at Catalonia Square and led to vandalism involving public property, vehicles, and shops. Despite these incidents, the Spanish Football League has confirmed that there will be no changes to the schedule for Sunday’s El Clasico at Camp Nou, part of the league's tenth round. Barcelona currently leads the standings with 27 points, followed by Atlético de Madrid with 25 points, while Real Madrid sits in third place with 21 points.
