The National Security services in Tamanrasset have dismantled an organized criminal network involved in drug trafficking. An operation carried out by the Research and Intervention Brigade led to the seizure of 69 kilograms of cocaine hidden inside a refrigerated truck, which was being used to transport the illicit cargo toward the northern provinces. Two suspects were arrested, and police recovered 4.1 million dinars in cash along with a utility vehicle linked to the operation. The individuals have been referred to the public prosecutor at the specialized penal pole in Ouargla.
