The University Publications Office (OPU) is preparing to release 60 new scientific and academic titles in English before the end of 2026, bringing its total collection in this language to over 100 books. According to an official statement released on Monday, October 26, this move is part of a strategy to upgrade national university publishing and broaden the reach of Algerian scientific knowledge globally. The initiative follows guidelines from the Ministry of Higher Education focused on enhancing academic publishing, promoting the use of English in the university environment, and increasing the openness of Algerian universities to international scientific communities. The OPU stated that these publications reflect its commitment to supporting national scientific production and facilitating access to knowledge resources for students, professors, and researchers, thereby improving academic training quality and strengthening the presence of Algerian research in international forums.
