The Minister of Industry visited Oum El Bouaghi province to inspect and launch several production facilities aimed at boosting local output and reducing imports. In Aïn M'lila, the minister toured plastics and auto parts manufacturing units, and inaugurated new facilities for automotive filters and lubricants. The inspection also covered the site of the former state-owned company Elatex in Meskiana to evaluate its potential for industrial reuse, alongside a visit to the industrial zone of Aïn Beïda, where the minister urged the recovery of unexploited land. The tour concluded with the inauguration of a pharmaceutical packaging plant in Oum El Bouaghi. Throughout the visits, the minister highlighted the importance of enhancing product quality, increasing local integration, streamlining administrative procedures for investors, and maximizing job creation to support the national economy.
