MSP unveils "Ingaz" platform to empower local municipalities
Abdelaali Hassani Cherif, president of the Movement of the Society for Peace (MSP), has unveiled the party's "Ingaz" electoral platform, which aims to grant municipalities broader powers to transform them into engines of local development. The party advocates for revising municipal and provincial laws to move beyond centralization, focusing instead on local investment and participatory democracy. The program covers ten key pillars, including digitalization, governance, urban development, and service improvement, with special attention given to southern and border regions. Addressing the political landscape, Hassani Cherif warned against the impact of low voter turnout, calling for a stable environment that fosters public participation and strengthens institutional trust.
