MC Alger has learned its opponents for the CAF Champions League group stage following the draw held in Cairo. As the Algerian champion, the club is set to compete in the group phase for the second consecutive year, facing a difficult path against Egypt's Zamalek, Tanzania's Young Africans, and Tunisia's Club Africain. The team qualified for this stage by overcoming a 2-0 first-leg deficit against Enugu Rangers, winning 3-0 in the return leg at Douéra. The group stage matches are scheduled to begin between November 27 and 29, with only the top two teams in the group advancing to the quarter-finals.
