National security services in Tamanrasset successfully intercepted a major shipment of hard drugs, seizing 69 kilograms of cocaine. The operation, executed by the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), led to the dismantling of a transborder criminal network and the arrest of two individuals. Investigators uncovered a plan to transport the drugs from the southern provinces to the north using a refrigerated truck, where the contraband was concealed within the vehicle's bodywork. Furthermore, authorities seized 410 million centimes and an additional utility vehicle used in the illicit activity. The detainees have been presented before the public prosecutor at the specialized penal pole in Ouargla for legal proceedings.
