President Tebboune reaffirms commitment to economic diversification and investment

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune addressed economic operators at a conference in Algiers, emphasizing the state's resolve to boost national investment. He noted that improvements in non-hydrocarbon GDP indicators reflect successful efforts to diversify the economy. Kamel Moula, president of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), highlighted the country's structural transformation and the necessity of food sovereignty. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Mohamed Lamine Lebbou announced projections for economic growth exceeding 4% by 2026. This growth is expected to be driven by a 20% increase in domestic investment, expanded bank financing, and a larger contribution from the industrial sector to the national GDP.
