The Ministry of Health has secured 2.1 million doses of the seasonal flu vaccine for the 2026-2027 season, launching the national campaign this Tuesday, October 27, 2026. The doses have been distributed across all local health facilities nationwide, including the southern provinces, ensuring timely availability. This effort aligns with the national strategy to prevent infectious diseases. Vaccination is strongly recommended for high-risk groups, including those over 65, individuals with chronic illnesses, pregnant women, and healthcare professionals. The vaccine is provided free of charge at public health centers. The ministry has also called on national media to support the campaign by raising awareness and encouraging the target populations to get vaccinated.
