Algerian gymnast Kaylia Nemour claimed the gold medal in the uneven bars event at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, this Saturday. The 19-year-old Olympic champion delivered a stellar performance, scoring 15,333 points to finish ahead of Germany's Helen Kevric and the USA's Skye Blakely. This achievement marks a strong comeback for Nemour, who narrowly missed a medal in the all-around final on Friday. By successfully defending her 2025 Jakarta world title, she further cements her status as a global leader in the sport. Nemour is scheduled to compete in the balance beam final this Sunday. Meanwhile, the Algerian women's team concluded their historic participation in the event with a 20th-place finish.
