The CAF Confederation Cup draw has placed USM Alger in Group D with CS Sfaxien, Black Bulls, and Real Bamako, following the withdrawal of Panthers FC due to financial difficulties. Meanwhile, CR Belouizdad has been drawn into Group C alongside AS Maniema Union, Singida Black Stars, and Red Arrows. The Algerian club must still secure its spot by playing the rescheduled matches against Mauritania's AS Douanes in November, following a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The group stage, featuring four groups of four, will begin in late November, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the quarter-finals.
